Reef and plant-safe formula made of all-natural ingredients can be used in fresh or saltwater systems. 16 oz Chem-Marin Pre-Vent treats up to 480 gallons when used at maintenance dosage and treats up 48 gallons when adding new fish.

| This product is NOT to be used if parasites are visible or signs of parasites exist. Signs include: fish scratching off rocks, rapid darting, or any other abnormal activity. If this describes your situation, you need to use Chem-Marin Stop Parasites (#29687) product to remove parasites from your fish and aquarium. Pre-Vent will NOT rid your tank of pre-existing parasite infestations.
When To Use Pre-Vent:
Use Pre-Vent when adding new fish and as regular tank maintenance.
Directions: Adding New Fish
For saltwater or freshwater tanks.
Shake Well: Add 2 teaspoons per 10 gallons of water, twice a day for 5 days in a row, and proceed with regular maintenance program.
Note: If your system has a protein skimmer, leave it running.
Directions: Regular Tank Maintenance
For saltwater or freshwater tanks.
Shake Well: Add 2 teaspoons per 10 gallons of water every other day.
Warning:
It is unlikely for a pH drop to occur in a reef system, but for fish only and freshwater systems your pH may drop. Check pH after each application and buffer as needed. |
