Maintain healthy, beautiful corals free of flatworms. Flatworm Solution by AquaVision Aquatics features an easy-to-dispense dropper bottle for convenient flatworm treatment. Use Flatworm Solution with existing flatworm population or as part of a quarantine regimen before introducing new corals or live rock into your display aquarium. An unchecked population of flatworms can quickly compromise aquarium health.

Flatworm Solution is safe for both reef and fish-only marine aquariums. For best results, perform a 25% water change once results are visible after use. Make sure to siphon out as many flatworms as possible. Repeat treatment as necessary but do not dose more than one treatment in a 24-hour period. Add four drops for every ten gallons. 1 oz (30 ml) bottle treats 400 gallons.

Important Tips:

• The following tips are meant to reduce the amount of toxic flatworm body fluids in the water.
• It is important to reduce the number of flatworms prior to treatment and actively reduce the amount of toxic flatworm body fluid.
• Do not underestimate the number of flatworms in your system. In a few cases, a significant number of flatworms can be hiding in crevices. Blow water into crevices and other potential hiding places with a powerhead or a turkey baster. Siphon out all flatworms.
• Do not underestimate the amount of toxic body fluids these flatworms can excrete. Siphoning out flatworms prior to treatment can reduce the amount of toxins significantly. Further significant reduction is accomplished by siphoning flatworms after the treatment.
• Any body fluid released by flatworms has to be reduced further by using about 1 pound of fresh, high-quality activated carbon for every 50 gallons. The carbon has to be used in a canister with a sufficient forced water flow.
• Take sufficient time when treating your aquarium. That is, do not treat your aquarium in a hurry. Also, take time to monitor your aquarium for at least six hours after treatment.
• It is also a good idea to have premixed saltwater on hand for your required water changes.
