SafeStart
This was awesome, I set up my 55 gallon fish tank and added SafeStart and I really was afraid to add my fish right away so I but 2 of my fish in and they were fine so then I added my Discus fish and it was awesome they were all swimming around and enjoying their bigger tank. It's been two weeks and all are fine. Thank you so much.

Awsome Bacteria
My wife often comes home with new aquariums and new (expensive) fresh water fish. The first time, I panicked knowing that it takes a new tank a week or so to cycle. After a couple of days, the ammonia and ammonium levels were sky-high. All I could do was change water constantly. The fish store recommended Safe Start. Within half an hour of application ammonia level was zero. What a great product !

You can rely on Safestart
Having killed WAY too many fish over my 35 years of maintaining aquaria, I was a little skeptical to try a new product. However, when I bought a used 55-gal aquarium last summer, the Safestart came with the deal so I used it. I have to say that it works like a charm! In fact, I tried another product on another tank and Safestart got the cycle up faster than my old standby. It says on the bottle to use the entire bottle, but I measured it out over 7 days. I would like it if there was an option there because I am sure my bacteria continued to work days after opening. My tank was clear and the fish happy. I will continue to use on water changes.
