CO2 System Fully-Automatic
Great System for Co2. Been using it for a few weeks now. Very easy setup. The one complaint was the bubble counter. It was a leaky bubble counter. i went to my local store and bought a 4 dollar one that fit this application. So when ordering, buy a seperate bubble counter.

I love it! Just set it and forget it. Go enjoy your planted aquarium!

I must echo previous reviews
The regulator, PH controller, and reactor are high quality. The supply power head could have been better. The worst part is the bubble counter. It didn't even make it to setup before it cracked down the injection molding part line when tightening one of the fittings. It was barely tightened before falling apart. You will need to replace the bubble counter or you will be wasting a lot of CO2

I've had my system running for about a week, and I've never seen my plants and fish happier! For the extra money you'll spend having a fully automatic setup, it's totally worth it. Not as much maintenance and no guesswork. Just make sure all of your hosing clamps are SUPER tight!
The Pinpoint pH controller is an excellently crafted device. It's extremely accurate, relatively easy to use, and has the ability to both raise and lower pH.
The Azoo regulator/solenoid is nothing fancy, but it does the job. Same with the clamps, tubing, and output spout (although I wish the output spout came down lower into the tank to avoid ripples on the surface of the water).
When setting up the Reactor 1000, make sure that the in/out spouts are VERY tight. It doesn't mention this in the manual, but it should. I didn't even realize that they were able to come loose until I turned on my unit for the first time and had a couple gallons of water come rushing down into my cabinet. I like the fact that it can be mounted externally, and it seems to to the job well. Also, the little black check valve that it comes with had a pretty substantial drip-leak, so I would recommend picking up a different one for a few bucks and using that instead.
The MaxiJet 1200 hums a bit loudly, but it seems to mute a little if you mount it lower in the tank. It moves quite a bit of water, too, and really helps circulation.
The only component I'm really not happy with is the bubble counter. It leaks, and the gas hisses out badly. Since it's an automatic system, I think I might just take it out of the equation and run the CO2 right into my reactor. No need to count bubbles, it's just nice to easily see when the gas is running or not.
I also feel that this setup from Drs F & S is overpriced. I won't say what I got mine for, but it's worth waiting for a sale or building your own. Either way, automatic is definitely the way to go!!
