New Era Plec Pellets Pellets 120 grams
Gomer likes these pellets
My old 18-inch Pleco, Gomer, really likes these pellets. During the summer he stays in our turtle pond and likes to be hand fed, which we do every evening. It is such a joy to see the old boy, chowing down on his pellets and the tropical granules that sink. In the winter he stays in a tub that we set up for him in the aquarium room, staying healthy eating his pellets. Thanks for making a product exceptionally suited for our large, unusual animals. Next I am going to try them on the bristlenose catfish. Thanks again.

fish love it
My bristlenose pleco really like New Era Pleco Pellet. By the third day they were very active at feeding time and ate more enthusiastically then with their old food. Now I see more plecos (including several babies) come out right away to feed.

Love at first bite
I have a very old (20+ year) Pleco who can be fussy at times about his food. He has been known to toss pellets he doesn't like into a corner and leave them there.
I'm always on the hunt for nutritious and enjoyable foods for my Pleco. On my latest order I included a small can of these New Era Plec Pellets to try out. The ingredients looked great and they offered a different texture for him to try out. The pellets are soft like a Tootsie Roll and about the size of a gummy bear, for reference.
For the first feeding test I dropped one of his standard algae tablets into the tank followed by one New Era Plec Pellet. Well, my Pleco went straight for the New Era Plec Pellet and pounced on it. He ate every morsel of the New Era pellet while leaving the standard algae tablet in a corner for hours. Since then these New Era Plec Pellets have become part of the daily feedings. My Pleco literally jumps for joy after his feedings. I'm happy too since he leaves behind less uneaten food to clean up. These pellets don't cloud the water or make it stink like garlic or other additives either.

My Pleco's love it! I usually buy hard algae tabs.
