I am very happy with this product and it's pricing. I would quickly and without reservation recommend Drs. Foster and Smith Instant Ammonia Remover to any fish-keeper.
I use city tap water that is treated with ammonia and additional agents.
When using a very popular product that kept my water safe, when testing, I kept getting an ammonia reading that was not very high but any measurable ammonia is to much.
I had a hunch this reading was detecting the changed ammonia (post treatment) which is harmless to fish but would prevent me from getting accurate ammonia readings. Rendering me blind to small amounts of the deadly type of ammonia.
To prevent the above from happening I switched the brand I used to treat my city tap water. I went with another popular product that is not cheap but has a great reputation and it instantly fix my phantom ammonia readings.
To save some money, I decided to experiment with this ammonia remover/ water conditioner. Glad I did.
This works just as well as all the others at making my city tap water safe. It also allowed me to take accurate ammonia readings and this product can be used during an emergency to instantly drop ammonia levels.
I've been using this on all my tanks for over 3 months now and I have nothing but positive things to say about Drs. Foster and Smith Instant Ammonia Remover.

Best product I've found
My ammonia was so high it was way off the charts. I used ammo-lock immediately, which kept the fish alive, but nothing was getting rid of the ammonia. After weeks of doing partial water changes and using ammo-chips the ammonia was still off the charts. Then I found this product. Each treatment the ammonia was lower, after 6 treatments it is now down to zero. It's like a miracle. Follow the directions and make sure you're doing the water changes and you will be amazed. If my fish could talk they'd say "thank you foster & smith!"
