Optimized for use in planted aquariums, the Marineland Aquatic Plant LED Lighting System w/Timer is notable for its 3 watt RGB LED lamps that provide 660nm red light that encourages plants to "reach", Green accent light that brings out the natural beauty of aquatic plants and 460nm blue light that encourages plant "fullness." Polycarbonate focusing lenses and specially-facetted dispersion lenses maximize light penetration with an appealing light spread.
Marineland Aquatic Plant LED Lighting System w/Timer boasts a signature low-profile design that measures just 1/2" thick. Cool-running and energy-efficient LEDs significantly reduce utility bills and eliminate costly replacement bulbs that dig into your budget. Timer Usage Please Note: Your Aquatic Plant LED Lighting System is preprogrammed out of the box. Push and twist DC Jack into DC Socket to ensure water resistant connection.
The cycle is:
RGB LEDs only at 9:00 AM
RGB and White LEDs at 10:00 AM
RGB LEDs only (White LEDs OFF) at 8:00 PM
All LEDs OFF at 10:00 PM
After the initial cycle, the default clock position will be at 3:00 PM. Note: In the event there is a loss of power, the system will reset to these default settings.
To Change the Clock, please follow these steps:
Press and hold both the Blue and White Buttons at the same time for three seconds.
The time on the Clock will begin to flash.
Press the White Button to set the Hour and press the Blue Button to set the Minute.
After five seconds of inactivity the Clock will exit the Set Mode.
To Change the Light Programming, please follow these steps:
RGB LEDs ON and OFF Cycle:
Press and hold the Blue Button for three seconds.
The Timer will display "ON". You are now setting the time that the RGB LEDs will turn ON.
Press the White Button to set the Hour and the Blue Button to set the Minute.
After five seconds of inactivity the Timer will display "OFF". You are now setting the time when the RGB LEDs will turn OFF.
Press the White Button to set the Hour and the Blue Button to set the minute.
After five seconds of inactivity, the system will exit Set Mode and return to the Clock.
White LEDs ON and OFF Cycle:
Press and hold the White Button for three seconds.
The Timer will read "ON". You are now setting the time the White LEDs will turn ON.
Press the White Button to set the Hour and the Blue Button to set the Minute.
After five seconds of inactivity, the Timer will display "OFF". You are now setting the time the White LEDs will turn OFF.
Press the White Button to set the Hour and the Blue Button to set the Minute.
After five seconds of inactivity, the system will exit Set mode and return to the Clock.
Please Note: You can manually override the Lighting Cycle at any time with a simple, quick press (one second) of the White/Blue Button to turn the White/Blue LEDs ON or OFF. This action will not reset your preset lighting cycle.
