It is great filter
I bought model 2076 for my 75g tank two years ago from F & S. I am glad that I had picked a good product. The product is in good quality. Easy to clean and replace media. The consistancy water folw have been taking good care of my mess making goldfishes. The water is crystal clear all time. I specially like the feature that allow to automated switch two flows of each 12-hr. So, when I am on vacation, the low flow during the days; and high flow during the nights. This is awesome!!!

No canister filter company can equal Eheim...
My best friend recently bought the eheim 2078 for his 155 gallon bow front aquarium. He has it ten months now and he is very satisfied with it. I've seen the filter in action and even though I am not into the electronic features I was very impressed with the filters performance. His water was crystal clear. The filter was dead silent. But the best part to me was it had another media basket compared to my 2080. As usual Eheim has done it again. Top quality, reliability and performance no other canister filter can come close to. Yes they are more expensive but when you buy an Eheim it's the last filter you will buy.

Easy Set Up and Superb Performance
Eheim is always so consistent in their quality. Easy to start the syphon process. Quiet and moves a lot of water. Their media is a little expensive, but it is a one time purchase. Very good filter.

Great Filter
Bought this filter because the G6 that I bought did not do the trick. I like crystal clean water with minimal trouble. Try this filter you want go wrong. The only thing you need to know is that the filter does not come with all the media. I bought the 2078 (the big brother to the 2076) and had to purchase another $100.00 worth of media to fill it up... However, it is still worth the money. This media should last for years with only attention every 6 months or so.
