These things really work!
My 75 gallon tank was overrun with snails. Picking them out be hand was tedious and counter productive.
I ordered two of these traps and found them full of snails after the first night.
When cleaning the snails out of the trap, I first tried completely disassembling the traps and washing them out. I found it was much easier to just turn the traps upside down and wash them out with hot water at the kitchen sink. Red food trap holder will sometimes come loose if not tightly seated. Fortunately they float so you will find them at the water surface.

Slowly but surely the snails are disappearing!! unless you have a major infestation this is for you.

Great little trap
This little trap works well to catch the pesky snails that have taken over my tank. I used up the two baits, but keep using the trap with algae wafers. The snails keep coming. It does tip over easily, but works well for what it is. One other little annoyance is that the snail waste floats out when you take the trap out so you may need to clean the gravel afterwards.

easy to use
the sera snail collect works very good.I usually empty the unit every other day. when cleaning out the snails all you have to do is run water through the sera snail remover.For replacement snail bait i bought sera o nip,which you can buy at foster and smith.You can also use bait of your choice.
