cute and good value
these are cute and are good quality...no problem with that but my dogs are not used to wearing them and just shake their feet and they fly off...i bought a set (they do come in fours) for my chihuahua, jack russel and lab and they all kicked them off.... and a caution in snow they are slippery...i bought them just for when it rains so when it is muddy outside i don't have to wash their feet everytime they come inside....so I have to figure out what to do to keep them on....

They stay on her feet!
When I first saw these I had my doubts. My Australian Cattle Dog has the tiniest feet and skinny legs for her size. She has sensitive feet too. The boots went on easy and stayed on. It took her about ten minutes to get used to them. We have a gravel driveway she dislikes because the gravel is hard on her feet. You could see her surprise when she discovered she could walk on it without discomfort. She never tries to remove them herself. We've only had one come off when her foot got wedged in the crack between the seat and back of the car.

extend the life of the boots
Our 14 y/o Aussie has back problems and is unable to lift her back feet very high off the pavement when we take our daily walk. As a consequence, her skin was being scraped off the tops and bottoms of her rear paws to the bleeding point. We purchased 4 prs. of boots, but we found that the boots wore holes in them after 2 wearings. Then my husband had the good idea of re-inforcing the boots by dipping the toes of the boots in multi-purpose rubber coating (a liquid that dries solid). It can be purchased at home improvement stores (and probably hardware stores too). The boots now last for at least 10 wearings or more on rough gravel pavement, and they can be dipped again in the rubber coating yet again. PS-Toby likes them too.

these are very nice boots, although the small was way to large for my chihuahua.
