Dog Ultimate Trail Boot Size: Medium
Finally Dog boots that work
Not only do these boots stay on (if you Velcro them tightly enough), the rugged soles are terrific. My dog wore right through the rubberized cloth bottoms of another brand after 4 long walks. They were worthless but these are exactly what I was hoping for

This is a great product and I would highly recommend it to friends. I like that each boot is identified as front or back, and they are true to size after measuring Sasha's paws per the instructions online.
They are easy to get on and do not come off. After initially looking perplexed by the entire situation my Rhodesian Ridgeback handles them really well. She has almost developed a bit of a prance when she has them on and she can actually run in them. They are very well made, and I am so pleased I found them. The balloon type paw protectors I purchased at a local pet store are so much more difficult to get on and off. These boots are a pricey but worth every cent for ease of use.

Our German Shepherd has fibrotic myositis which causes her to drag her back feet when she gets tired on long walks causing her feet to bleed. We were looking for sturdy boots that would stand the punishment of being dragged on pavement around the neighborhood or rocks if we're hiking. These are perfect due to the rubber toes. They are a bit hard to get on because they're a pretty tight fit even though we measured her foot and bought the recommended size. Only problem we've had is that one went missing and there's no way to order just one replacement boot.

Great Boot--does exactly what it is supposed to do!
We ordered these boots in a size L for our 6 month old Great Dane to hike on the Superior Hiking Trail in MN in the winter. Last weekend, we did 6+ miles in snow/ice, with the Dane leaping through the woods and running up and down the trail, some spots 7-10 inches of snow. The boots stayed on the ENTIRE TIME (4 hours of hiking). The thinner top velcro strap did begin to get saturated due to temps hovering around freezing, but it did not come off. The only suggestion I can think of is to add a snap of some sort or a bungee at the end of it to ensure that it stays in place despite moisture. All that was needed was to scrape the slush out of the velcro though and resecure it once or twice, and we probably didn't have to do that as the boots were still securely on. So nice to find a product that actually delivers. The boots seem rugged and durable, and have minimum wear on the rubber soles from several hikes. We may also try them in the summer for hot pavement. He has not been bothered by them at all and does not nip or bite at them; in fact on the trail he moves as though he is wearing nothing. The traction is tough on ice (as it is for humans in boots) but with a light snow covering he has all the agility he needs to climb over rocks and up ridges. Wonderful product. Will be looking to see what else this brand offers as finding products big enough and durable enough for Danes is hard! Thank you for a well made, quality product!
