Additional Feeding Guidelines
The amount of food your dog requires will depend on activity, age, environment, and breed. Adjust food quantities as necessary to maintain optimal weight. If feeding multiple meals, divide daily amount into equal portions. If you're unsure about how much to feed your dog, contact your veterinarian. Feed at room temperature and refrigerate any unused portion.
If feeding Drs. Foster and Smith dog food for the first time, gradually adjust your dog's current diet to avoid stomach upset. Mix 1/4 part Drs. Foster and Smith food with current food for 2-3 days. Gradually increase the new food and decrease current food over 7-10 days until you are feeding all Drs. Foster and Smith Food.
Always provide access to fresh clean water.
