Redbarn Naturals Dog Food 2.3 lb Roll Flavor: Beef
Great Training Treat!
My dogs go crazy for this stuff! I cut it into 1/2lb chunks and freeze it. When needed, I pull out a chunk and thaw it in the fridge overnight and then cut it into tiny bits in the morning and start training. Any leftover from the training session get stored in the fridge or it will go bad.
I've tried other brands, but they were too soft/moist and crumbled. This stays packed together, yet is soft and easy to cut to any size.

Red Barn dog food roll
I actually got the beef and not the chicken -- but it has been a wonderful training tool! My other dog would accept anything I offered to her for training, but the new dog I got was so finicky and would not take anything. The trainers kept telling me I did not have good treats. I tried EVERYTHING, including the use of hot dogs, which only got a minimal result. The trainer then came up to her, let her smell the Red Barn cut into small pieces to use as a treat, asked her to sit, and she immediately sat. I immediately ordered some and now this is the only thing I use for training with her. Her results have been wonderful and we are only on week 4. She should now have no problem to get her CGC!

Tasty Meat Roll
Sometimes my 3 poodles can get finicky when eating. I use small pieces of this nutritious roll and crumble it into their food. They gobble it all right up. Also, it is excellent to use as training aides/rewards. They really pay attention when I am using this to train. My dogs all love this roll in a variety of flavors and I feel good knowing that it is as good for them as it is nutritious. Must be refrigerated after opened.

Finiky eater liked it
I have a rescue shih tzu who turns up his nose at everything except people food. Maybe that's what he was fed in a previous life? I've tried grocery store brands and more expensive pet store brands - both canned and dry. My neighbor gifted me a roll of Red Barn beef and to my surprise my dog liked it so I ordered some more. He seems to like the beef flavor the best. He's still picky, but of all the foods I've tried, he likes this one the best. I tried it too (I always see what the dog foods taste like) and it did not taste like cardboard as some of the other dog foods do. Its worth a try, and its economical too. By the way, it did not "go through him" as quickly as canned dog food did thus no overnight accidents on the rug!
