Tick Twister Pro 2-pk
I have not needed to use this yet, and hope I never do, but...
My dog recently had a white tick removed from his nose by the Vet, so thought I'd better have a tick remover handy.
Local large pet store sold me one that required you to hold down a button, then while holding it down, position and clamp teeth over tick. Then turn. No way I could have managed that contortionist trick! Then looked here and, sure enough, the same kind of tick remover that my Vet used. Yay!
Can't exactly recommend something I've never used but this is definitely what I was looking for - and could not find locally. And the two-pack allows me to keep one at home and one in the car.

Got the Tick Twister a couple of weeks ago. Finally had the chance to use it today. Found two ticks on my cat, both were removed quickly, easily, and entirely with the Tick Twister. I can even use it with one hand! No need for someone to hold the animal while you remove the tick.

Works great on my antsy Husky!
I have a Lab/Saint Bernard mix that this was originally bought for, but ended up not getting used much (he's only had one tick all summer and doesn't have any tick repellent like k9 Advantix). But I recently just adopted a husky who was covered in ticks (poor boy) from living in the country. He hates being held down, but once he was a little more relaxed, my tick twister came in handy! Got through his thick fur easily and removed all his ticks!

Looks sturdy enough to do the job, but I haven't had to use it yet. Hope I don't have to!
