Good Toy for an Active Pup
My 1+ year old female retriever/pointer mix is extremely active and energetic. These toys satisfy her need to rip things apart and play. We can play tug-of-war, so that I can wear her out a bit. I find the small ones to be more convenient and more suited to playing with her. The larger ones can be a bit unwieldy and don't give her the grip and leverage she wants to really pull as hard as she can. She can wear out dogs twice her size, so she has a lot of energy and these toys really do help.
I'd rather see her rip these apart than something else, like furniture.

Worth the Money
I am very pleased with this product. The chew ropes that I received were bright and colorful - which comes in handy for my dogs since our one dog is older and we aren't so sure about how sharp his vision is anymore. He is able to see these chew ropes without any problem. An advantage of the small chew ropes is that they are excellent for playing fetch in the house. However, unless you have a small dog I wouldn't suggest using this size chew rope to play tug with your dog. Since the rope is smaller you run the risk that your dog may bite a finger. Overall, an excellent product, and very reasonably priced.

Both my Doberman & Toy Fox Terrier love these toys!
If dogs could smile - this toy makes for two happy dogs when I get it out
for their play time. The "Flossy Chew Ropes" can be used as a throw toy outside, or a tugging toy inside and a good way give your dog exercise.

Fun to be tugging again!
My Anatolian had smaller ones when she was a little pup and loved to play tug with them. But when she thought that it would be more fun to lay down and demolish it, she wasn't allowed to have them for free play. So, every evening after dinner I get out the tug toy and she has a blast for 20 min or more. So even though she doesn't get to chew on it, it is very strong and puts a smile on our faces to watch her be able to play tug again.
