Phycox® Small Bites

Small breeds need joint support too, and you want your smaller dog to enjoy the best in joint mobility. Phycox Small Bites, created especially for smaller canines, is a blend of more than a dozen effective joint-support ingredients that can provide just the amount of arthro-support he needs. The Phycox formula offers a joint support matrix for healthy synovial maintenance as well as bone and muscle support.

In addition to glucosamine HCl, a powerful ingredient inherent in healthy joints, Phycox also contains a patented form of the blue-green algae phycocyanin, a rich source of phytonutrients, which offers strong joint support two ways.

• Studies* indicate that Phycox inhibits the COX-2 enzyme, which blocks the synthesis of inflammatory mediators in the body.
• Phycocyanin is also a dynamic antioxidant, which support the body's defense against degradative components called "free radicals" in cells, including joint cells.

Phycox also includes a proprietary mix of other antioxidants as well as individual antioxidants, which serve and enhance the immune-supportive function as phycocyanin does. Different antioxidants work on different pathways to support a healthy immune system. In addition, Phycox contains Omega-3 fatty acids, which enhance the efficacy of joint support ingredients such as glucosamine. Also in this mix are MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), a dietary sulfur used for normal cartilage production, turmeric, a botanical extract from the roots of the Curcuma longa plant, the mineral boron, required for normal bone metabolism, and creatine, an amino acid found in skeletal muscle. Normal bone and muscle strength are essential for the support of joints.

Phycox Small Bites have a delicious liver flavor. For sensitive dogs, Phycox HA (HypoAllergenic) Small Bites have the same effective ingredients as Regular Phycox, and are deliciously tasty, but contain no meat products. 1/2" nuggets.
