Arthogen Plus for Dogs contains half as much chondroitin as Arthrogen, but infuses the blend with methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), an organic form of sulfur (sulfur is necessary for cartilage production) and hyaluronic acid, which increases the viscosity (lubricating power) of the fluid in joints. Arthogen Plus, like Arthogen, also contains the antioxidants Vitamin C and manganese. Antioxidants (chondroitin also acts as an antioxidant) support the body's natural immune defenses in cells, including those in joint cells.
