Memory Gel Grip Pin Brushes Small Pin Brush
Comfy but not the greatest brush
This brush might last awhile for occasional brushing of short to medium coats. For long coats it will wear out quickly with light use. The pins become loose and start being pushed into the rubber face of the brush. You can't get a good brushing with loose short pins on a thick, long coat. Then the pins start to pull out of the rubber head while more pins loosen. The brush is useless then. The brush handle is very comfy. It conforms but doesn't dig into your hand and allows you to get a stable grip. I go through a lot of brushes with the Samoyeds I've owned for the last 20 years. I like to try different brushes to compare them. I can't recommend this brush except for its comfortable handle.
I bought the medium for an 8 week old Samoyed. I started using the brush when she was about 4 months old with a short, silky coat. Six months later her coat is very thick and medium to long length, but still pretty silky and easy to brush. We occasionally had to remove some knots or deep mats, but nothing above what's normal use of our brushes. This brush is almost done, and I feel that it hasn't been put through any hard use, like when a dog sheds her undercoat. We even used a different brush for after-bath grooming. I won't buy this one again.
