Product really works as promised
King Syerus enjoys the time we spend together while I pamper his paws and elbows, it makes them feel smooth and elbows on weimaraners are so skimpy on hair so it really feels good!

It does what it should do & my dog doesn't mind it!
The product definitely helps heal and protect sore paws. My dog never walks on salted areas, but the cold and snow were still quite hard on his paws. The creme seemed to be soothing and discouraged him from licking his paws when he came indoors--which had been a problem. Also, it is absorbed quickly, which I found important to avoid creating a mess on the floors and rugs. My dog actually comes to me when he sees the jar in my hand and sits patiently while I apply the creme which means that it must feel pretty good to him, too.

Product Helped My Dog
We have had issues with our dog, Chloe's feet since she was a pup. During the winter, she would chew and chew her paws until there wasn't any padding on her feet. We just notice the occurrance from fall to early spring. We tried boots, dog lotion, foot lotion, wrapping her feet, rubber boots and on and on. We pretty much were ready to give up. I was looking, again, through the Foster and Smith catalog and was debating on socks and lotion. I purchased the Musher's Secret and Protecta-Pad. I am VERY pleased with the Protecta-Pad and Musher's Secret. Chloe has not chewed her feet nearly as much as prior years. She gets the start of a crack on the bottom of her paws and I put the Protecta-Pad on them, and she doesn't lick or bite them. I do say, using both products has not completely solved our problem, but I do know Chloe is not anywhere close to being as miserable as she was in prior years. This year, Chloe walks on on fours not like on two legs as she often did last year and her pads have not cracked while we are walking. And, best of all, we don't have to leave her at home because she is hobbling. This makes her happy because she loves to walk.
