The stainless steel scissors easily cut my Papillon's fur. One snip will suffice and then on to the next section of fur. Good for small, hard to reach areas like sanitary trims around the rear end. My dog is small, so I'm not cutting large swaths of fur in one snip. The build quality is excellent and a convenient leather holster comes with the scissors. This is a good value item. Shipping was prompt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dee17 Pretty darn good compared to others I've had.
I've had two other pair of dog thining shears, what a joke. I couldn't afford to pay the prices they want for the better quality one's. I saw these and decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did.

They are fantastic! Curved to fit the body of the dog, sharp, and precise. The tips are somewhat rounded to prevent accidental jabs. yes! Get them if you are considering grooming your own dog, or a couple dogs-not for commercial use-there are scissors for $150 more that can handle that volume.
These are excellent for use by anyone-beginner to skilled-to groom or even clip your dog in between visits to the groomer. I use them with my Wahl and my dog is so afraid of the clipper that I end up cutting much by hand-and these do the job wonderfully at a very reasonable cost.
Two thumbs up!
