• The Gentle Leader® Easy Walk Harness is designed to gently discourage your dog from pulling. It is easy to fit, and easy to use. There is very little acclimation time or special technique required. The Easy Walk Harness works by redirecting pressure through a front leash attachment. A patent-pending martingale closure tightens slightly across the chest and shoulder blades when your dog attempts to pull forward.
• Using the harness: If your dog forges ahead of you, gently pull the leash to the side to turn your dog toward you. As he stops pulling, be sure to release the tension on the leash. Use praise and reward your dog with treats and/or petting.
• Unlike traditional collars, the Easy Walk Harness never causes coughing, gagging, or choking because the chest strap rests low across the breastbone, not on the delicate tracheal area.
• Two quick-snap buckles – one on the shoulder, one on the belly make it easier to get the harness on and off.
• Soft nylon and 4 adjustment points provide custom fit and maximum comfort.
• Our unique martingale chest loop reduces gapping and redirects forward motion.
• The belly strap is an attractive complementary color making it easy to tell up from down.

My husband and I first learned about this harness from our dog trainer who had suggested it as a way to handle our Lab's constant pulling. It had gotten so bad that I was pulled completely over twice, and it had become very difficult for me to walk him alone. We had tried both brands of head collars but found that while they helped, they were not very durable as our dog could easily chew throuh the straps if we turned our attention away for even seconds (we went through 6). This harness has been a lifesaver for us! We have had the first one now for approximately 3 years and it is still in fairly good condition considering the heavy daily use it gets. I'm buying a second one today to keep on hand just in case - I don't want to be without it ever again. I would recommend this harness to anyone who has a problem with a pulling dog.

WONDERFUL!! If you have a dog that pulls or tries to go ahead of you when walking, this harness is for you! The description says it "redirects forward motion", but what really happens when the dog pulls is he turns completely around to face you. It took about two times of this "redirection" before my Australian Shepherd was walking by my side on a loose leash - which he has NEVER done before. I could not believe it. I didn't have to use any force, or even any real effort, to get him to be a well-behaved dog when walking. I have tried so many other products to try to deter my dog's pulling, but this is the only one that's worked. And it worked easily and without hurting him in any way.

The Easy Walk Harness was literally a life saver for me and my fiances two 9 month old Pitt Bull pups! Weighing over 50 pounds each, they would pull us all around the backyard and walking them together was a real chore! The Easy Walk Harness is easy to put on and seems very comfortable for my dogs to wear. Their pulling has completely stopped and we can easily walk them on the bike path with adults, children, and other dogs walking by without a problem. The harness actually allows them to be in public without acting like they run the show! I have complete confidence taking them both for walks without any help, knowing that I can control them easily and safely. I will never use a regular harness or collar again!

I used the Gentle Leader Harness for the first time and I could not believe the results. I was so impressed by how easily controlled she was. She stayed by my side the entire duration of our two mile walk. When she was distracted by other dogs or people, I simply had to give the leash a light tug and she came right back to me. She actually looked towards me to lead her. I never thought that would happen. It's such a pleasure to walk her now! This is by far the easiest and most humane way to handle the frustrating "pulling" issue. I love this product! Even after attending training classes, my 65 pound Shepherd was completely unresponsive to both chokers and prongs. I never even considered using a harness because I didn't think it would solve the "pulling" problem. I decided to try this item solely based on the customer reviews.

The Gentle Leader EasyWalk Harness was a lifesaver for us! Our 55 pound Norwegian Elkhound was a rescue from a shelter and was a real puller. Being a Norwegian Elkhound she had to want to pull something. Nothing was working. We tried regular harnesses, chokers, all kinds of stuff, but nothing worked. She continued to pull pull pull. After buying the Easywalk Harness, we saw dramatic results; Nakita took to the harness the first time I ever put it on her. It was easy to put on and did not seem to ever hurt her. After only a few weeks she was walking by my side with just a regular collar on. And has had no problems at all. She also can now walk with no leash and she listens. I attribute this to the Easywalk Harness. I also am a volunteer at the local humane society and when I go up there I take the harness. It has worked wonders on shelter dogs and aiding in there adoptions. AMAZING harness. Look no further just try it. The best!

WONDERFUL product. At the suggestion of our sister-in-law vet we decided to try the Easy Walk Harness on our 2 year old Coonhound. It was the most amazing thing to be able to walk him without being literally pulled down the sidewask from scent to scent. Even when he spied a cat, before I did, his attempted dash across a front lawn was brought up short when I was easily able to rein him in. It took 3 steps to acclimate him to the harness. I'm ordering another for our 1 year old black and tan Coonhound. I'm a believer and will be sharing our discovery with our neighbors who have an active Lab.

The Easy Walk Harness works wonders on our Boxer. When we tried walking him on a leash attached to his collar, he would pull until he choked himself or he would yank his head out and run off. The Easy Walk Harness stopped all of this instantly! We had misplaced the harness last weekend and tried to walk him without it but he dragged us around, jumped on everyone, and tried to get free. We found the harness but I'm getting an extra one so we'll always have one around!

MAGIC MAGIC MAGIC! That's all I can say. We have a Lab puppy who is growing by the minute. She just wasn't getting the "no pulling" rule we were trying to enforce. We have a British Cream Golden(13 months & a Great Pyr/Golden mix( 11 months). This harness has made walking a pleasure. The dogs do not choke & when they pull, just gentle tugs on harness redirects their attention back to walking. I can walk both dogs easily with this harness. I just took my dog for her first walk with the Gentle Leader Easy Walk Harness. Night and Day!! Lola has been the worst puller on the lead I've ever had, and even though she is a small Boxer, she is strong and I would come home exhausted after walking her on a regular choke chain. I adopted her this spring when her owner couldn't keep her, and she is well behaved except for going on walks, where she does a Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde. So I think this is an amazing product, it even kept her from ripping my arm out a when she saw a couple of dogs and cats!

I use the Gentle Leader Headcollar on my 2 year old Lab with wonderful results. However, my 6 month old Lab pup would not tolerate the headcollar. The Gentle Leader Easy Walk Harness has been a godsend! While the puppy used to rub his pads raw from constant pulling, he no longer struggles to get ahead and now it's enjoyable to walk both dogs at the same time.

This halter does help with pulling. We have a 50 pound AmStaff mix that we adopted recently from a no kill rescue. She was supposedly a stray that spent 2 yrs at the shelter--she had no leash manners whatsoever. When we first got her 4 months ago, it took two adults holding two leashes to walk the dog without being pulled all over the place. We've worked constantly with her and she's much improved, but still has a tendency to get into her "freight train" mode where she pulls. This halter stops that right away, pulling Kahlua to the side, into us, or facing us. She doesn't get to pull us where she wants and she's learning to walk more politely on the lead.
