For male dogs in training, this is a must buy!
When our male Pomeranian started to lift his leg and "do his thing" on a cabinet we have in the FL Room with all the dog supplies, we started looking for a solution. He would not stop until we found this fire hydrant. We place the fire hydrant in the middle of a super large piddle pad and when he wants to lift his leg, he goes to the fire hydrant. If you turn the fire hydrant around, after he uses two corners of the pad, he then uses the other two corners (hitting the hydrant and finishing on the pad). Our female Pom seems to know the pad with the hydrant on it is his and she has her own pad! Everyone's happy and the furniture is saved.

Great little visual aid!
Bought this for my Maltese as he is using pee pads indoors. Makes him feel like a real dog!

Is not good for indoors
I thought the base would be wider. It doesn't stay up in the pad and my dog did not even attempt to pee on it. He thought it was a toy because it was so small.

Not what expected
This item was soooooooo small. Didn't work and I sold it at my garage sale!
