The Pee Post Works!
When the Pee Post first arrived and I placed it in the back yard area for our Westie and Scoland (Scottie/Westie hybred) to find, it appeared that they did not care about it. After moving it a few times and waiting overnight they both became interested and it acted like a dog magnet. I think that the light frost overnight caused the Pee Post to activate and now our flowers have a chance of surviving. Thanks for a great product.

training
This product clearly states that it contains pheromones to help attract your dog to eliminate in the area where the post is located. This item is not meant to magically make your dog eliminate wherever you put it without using CONSISTENT training. Even the directions state that if the dog does not use it at first (meaning, when s/he has to go outside, you take them on a leash to that spot), to try again later when the dog has to eliminate. Meanwhile, you DO NOT (consistency) allow the dog to go anywhere else. This product is intended to help with your consistent training efforts. If you get a potty seat for kids do they automatically use it, or would you have to be consistent with them and reward/praise them for eliminating where you want them to, so that they get the idea? All training aides are just that: aides, to be employed with consistent training.
These reviewers are unfair, as they rely on the product alone to miraculously solve their problems, without putting any time or training into the desired outcome. I encourage all responsible dog owners to pick up a few different books on dog training, hire or talk with a professional dog trainer, and put their own research, time, training, and dedication into their K9 companions.

It does attract
The Pee Post sure worked attracting my dog to the area...but she just thinks it's a toy sticking out of the ground. The smell made her crazy and she just kept trying to dig it up. It was rather funny! I'll keep training to see if I can actually get her to "go" over there.

Not that good for all
I guess it depends on the dogs. My god does not want to use it at all. The neighbor's dog comes and uses it, I guess it works for him but I wished it worked for mine.
