Just what I needed...
When I adopted my niece's dog, she had a favorite toy, a big yellow ball with spikey nubs all over it. Then my son's dog tore it to shreds when visiting one day - - the horror!!!
I could not for the life of me find anything similar in the stores, so off to the web I went. Found 2 here at Drs Foster & Smith that appeared large enough (got the 7" diameter ones) and had some texture to them, and ordered them (with fingers crossed).
Opened the box to find 2 two brightly colored balls, one red and one blue. Nipper (2 year old Dalmation mix) immediately knew they were hers and she absolutely loves them. They make a high pitched airy squeek when squeezed, not too loud, but do not have the "squeeky" inside (which would be bad, because she like to tear things apart and remove them if she can). They are soft and textured enough to grab and bite into and play with, but she has not been compelled to destroy them yet (which is saying a lot - - most toys don't last long around here).
As a bonus, they are too big to roll under the couch - yay!
All in all, I was hesitant to purchase sight unseen, but turned out to be a great investment. At least, that's what Nipper says...

Durable & Fun!
My puppy loves these! We have the small & medium. They are easy for her to grab onto with her teeth. We've had them for about 2 months & she has yet to destroy either. She really plays hard with these, likes to play tug of war with them & runs all over the house with them in her mouth. Also can be played with outside. Took them to the park one day & just washed it after. A great toy!

This is exactly what I was looking for!
We just rescued a dog and had a ball from our previous dog that he could grip and run with...well Missy fell in love with this ball! I couldn't find a replacement one any where, just in case this one broke. Well i did at Drs. Foster & Smith. This ball is extremely durable and it has now become Missy's favorite ball, it keeps her busy for quite a long time. I hope they continue to carry these balls when I need another!

Nice toy, reasonable price
My large breed puppy really enjoys batting this toy around the yard and carrying it around with him by the swirled ridges on the ball. The squeaker really gets him excited. It can be chewed up by a determined puppy (this is our second purchase!) but if it is picked up when the playing is over, this can be avoided.
