Rated 5 out of 5 by Dogmama41 My dog's favorite toy!
I have a 12 lb male Lhasa Apso and he has gently loved to death two of these toys in 5 1/2 years! The monkey is bigger than the dog. Buster drags the monkey around, uses it as a pillow, naps during the day with it and wrestles with it. Each of his previous monkeys lasted over 2 years each.

My golden retriever LOVEs to carry "babies" around and put into his bedding at night for s sleeping buddy. He adores his new " baby". Great price n well worth the wait from the back order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AK91 My dog loves these!!!
As the title says, my younger dog absolutely loves these, my older one not so much but mainly that's because she doesn't get a chance with either of them because the younger one hoardes them.lol. These are by far the longest lasting toy I have purchased and they have withstood a lot and I mean a lot of abuse, going on 3 months. They get played tug of war with, shook up like its an animal to kill, and most of all suckled(he was taken away from his mom too soon). This monkey is his go to toy when he's afriad, upset and tired. You will never catch him sleeping without one, sometimes he even has both. Yes through all the abuse I have had to sew up a couple rips and holes here and there and the honker in the middle no longer works but they are made out of really sturdy, thick material. Please keep these around because I'm sure I'll be buying more in the future =]

Rated 5 out of 5 by Xalexa The Fleece Monkey replaces an older one that lasted several years.
When we adopted our greyhound, he came with a Fleece Monkey toy that he loved. It was already worn, but he loved it. He likes to carry it inside and outside all the time. Sometimes he leaves it outside (he likes to leave some of his toys outside so if he is in the mood to play while outside, he can get them easily) and it gets wet in the rain. We wash his toys all the time and eventually the fabric has thinned. We decided to replace it before the old one falls apart. We saw the same monkey in the Doctors Foster & Smith catalog so we ordered it. However, the new one came with a hat and scarft. The picture did not show a hat and scarf, but we noticed later it was called a Christmas Monkey. So we will have to see how our greyhound does with the new look.
