My dog absolutely LOVES this tug toy.
My dog wouldn't really tug on toys and I was not sure he would use this large tug. But, to my surprise, he tugs with me, takes it to bed with him and every tries to take it outside in the snow when he goes for a walk.
He is pretty destructive on toys because of his bite pressure, but this toy really stands up to hard play. And, when he found there was a squeaker in the foot he really got excited. His tail just wags and wags when playing with this toy.

Tough toy
My 2 dogs are REALLY tough on their toys tearing them up in the first few hours! This tug toy has outlasted all the rest and believe me these 2 standard poodles are a real testament to the quality of kong tug.

cute toy; great price
unfortunately my little 15# dog is a destroyer so he had this monkey dismembered in a matter of hours. better choice for those whose pets would like to pull rather than destroy. it states its not a chew toy but i had hoped it would hold up and we could do some tugging. :(

Not very tough
I have a 7 month old German Wire Hair mix and I bought this toy for him thinking it would be great for him (knowing Kong toys are so durable). I gave it to him and within five minutes the toy was entirely destroyed. I thought the rope went entirely the toy, but it does not. I was really dissappointed with this product :(
