Rated 4 out of 5 by Cresta Tricky, but works well
Despite 50/50 negative reviews on the bulletin boards, I went ahead and ordered one when it was on special with a Ecotech pump. My experience with the unit is solely with it controlling Vortech pumps. I have programmed it to drive 5 Vortech pumps over 3 tanks. I am able to create pump modes and schedules that aren't available normally. For example, normally, you can chose to run your pump in a single mode....that is it. You run ReefCrest and that's that the whole time. With the ReefLink, I can run 12 hours of calm 15% flow, 45 minutes ramping up mode to a 2 hour ReefCrest at 90% flow; calm for 15 min of feeding time; then 3 hours of pulsing wave at 80% flow; then 45 minutes of ramping down to calm night flow again. The scheduling option is endless. I sync it to my auto feeder's time, so the flow slows down when feeding. This can't be done automatically with the ReefLink. Also, I am using the ReefLink to update firmware to all of my Ecotech pumps. Prior to getting the ReefLink, firmware updates can be done between pumps, but is only update-able to the firmware of the newest pump you own. If you want a even more recent firmware, the pumps must be send in to Ecotech. It is basically working as a "bridge" for any updates Ecotechs come up with to be communicated to the Vortechs.
Now, it works..... works great I think.....but...........tricky to set up........ I have it running for about 5 months now. I remember it took me about an hour and half to get it to work. And another couple of days to figure out what is what. You can have it running, then next day....it stops communicating with the server. This is most likely because Ecotech has came up with another updated firmware to the unit. Over a week's time, I think I had updated the ReefLink's firmware 3 times. If you don't update, it won't communicate and you think you have a faulty unit. Just make sure to flash to the latest firmware and reset/ reboot unit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mftak2 GARBAGE...save your money
Spent the whole day on sunday trying to sync my mp10 to this piece of GARBAGE called Reeflink. Went to numerous sites, forums etc for help tried it all and nothing worked. In this day and age it should NOT take more than 10-20 min to hook something like this up. Now i know why this was 50% off..because no one wants to buy this piece of junk.
Save your money and time and look into something else.
