Glandex 5-1/2 oz (155 grams)
Our dog has had digestive problems so in addition to adding probiotics to her food, I read about Glandex and thought we'd give it a try. She really likes the taste of it when we add it to her food and it seems to definitely help with the uh...poo problems. She'd had a couple anal gland expressions and I think they are really detrimental so we decided to stop them all together and fix her food and digestion. In addition to Glandex, she is on a minimal ingredient, natural food diet, and I make her mashed sweet potatoes. We've tried to minimize chicken intake and no more peanut butter. I think the combination of these things, including the Glandex, has really helped us stay away from the vet for the last year or two!

it really works!
My shepherd always had glands problems. Every month to the vet was not what he liked. Tried fibers as vet said but not the result I wanted for him. Than I saw this with good reviews so bought it 2 years ago for the first time. It really works never went to the vet anymore and his poo is solid. I use it now maybe 3 times a week. And love it because my dog feels so much better. So everybody I hear about problems with dogs with their glands I tell them to buy this. It really works!!! and I think the taste is also good because they love it.

I've been using this for a few months and have not had to take my dog in for an expression since she started on it. She's had a few small leaks, but nothing that required a vet visit. Very happy with this product. I simply sprinkle it in her food and mix, and she doesn't mind it at all. Keep in mind it does increase their water intake significantly, so keep the water bowl full, especially right after they eat, and lots of potty time!

more than one benefit
I do like this product, it works most of the time. My female (dachshund) doesn't get the emptying benefit as much as the males do. My males (2 dachshunds) still get their glands filled some, but they seem to be able to get it out enough that I don't have to spend so much money to have it done at the vet. BUT There is one additional benefit that is worth it even if the glands didn't empty..., it takes the piercing stench out of the smell of their urine and foofoo. It still smells some, but not like before. My dogs go on pee pads, and when they go, you know it. Now the smell does not permeate the whole condo, and most of the time I have to be in the bathroom to smell it. To me, that alone is an unexpected pleasant and welcome PLUS.
