Gobble Stopper Small, bowls up to 6" dia
Gobble stopper works
My 6 month old miniature american shepherd would scarf down his food in less than 90 seconds before I bought the gobble stopper. He was having GI issues constantly. With this product he now takes at least 4 times longer to eat, and it has solved the GI upset that came with gulping his food. Its easy and convenient to use, clean and stays in his bowl even though he tries to get it out. He's even picked his bowl up by the gobble stopper when he done eating and it still stays suctioned! Highly recommend.

Very functional for voracious eaters
I have 3 chihuahuas who would eat their own foot if it got in the way of their food. The gobble stopper actually slows them down - prevents burping, vomiting and allows them to digest slowly. 1) You have to play around with how much moisture is needed to ensure the suction (that is what adheres to the bowl or plate) works. 2) And you need to 'suction' it to a flat surface (nothing beveled). 3) the bowl and the gobbler should be around the same time so the dog works in the small space they have

Slows down eating and works well.
After reading the reviews, I was a bit uncertain and skeptical when I ordered the Gobble Stoppers. I ordered three of them (two small and one medium). I had a little trouble at first with the Gobble Stopper being removed from the dish by my dog. Once I had the suction firmly established, there was no problem with the Gobble Stopper coming out of the dish or being moved around inside the dish. I did have to make sure the dish was clean and the suction was solid. In one dish, my dog kept removing the Gobble Stopper, but that was my fault. I hadn't applied enough pressure for the suction to hold. Bottom line - I am very satisfied after correcting "operator error". Their eating has been slowed considerably, and that makes me very happy.
