Rated 5 out of 5 by candledog I LOVE IT AND SO DOES MY GRACIEGIRL
MY GRACIE WAS HAVING A PROBLEM WITH HER ANAL GLANDS AND BECAUSE THEY ARE SO HIGH UP, IT WAS PAINFUL FOR HER TO GET THEM DRAINED. SO I WENT ON DR. FOSTER AND SMITH'S WEB SITE KNOWING THEY WOULD HAVE A SOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLEM. I'VE NOT BEEN SORRY FOR ONE DAY THAT I GIVE THIS TO GRACIE, IT WORKS AND HER STOOLS ARE NOW FIRM AND SHE IS NOT RUBBING HER BOTTOM ANYMORE. I WISH WHEN MY SPANKIE WAS ALIVE I WOULD OF KNOWN ABOUT THIS, BECAUSE HE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. THANK YOU DR. FOSTER AND SMITH FOR A GREAT PRODUCT THAT DOES WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL DO. GOD BLESS YOU

My Labrador had 4 anal gland ruptures. Never once did I see her scoot. She already had firm stools. The final straw was when my neighbors were caring for my dog while I was out of town, when a rupture occurred. They had to drive to my vet to get antibiotics for her. I had taken her to the vet the day before I left to have her glands expressed. There was no warning. She is older and I just couldn't face a possible surgery for anal gland removal. I did loads of research and came up with Glandex. I stir the powder into her dry food and add a minimum amount of warm water and a tiny bit of extra virgin olive oil. She has never had a rupture since and she has been on it for 6 months. One container lasts a long time. Certainly try it before even thinking about surgery or going constantly to the vet to have anal glands expressed. I had tried pure pumpkin first. Nothing else worked. My dog likes it, and licks the bowl for a long time. It does make dogs thirsty, so prepare to give a lot of water. Consequently, the dog has to be let out frequently.

Our dog has had digestive problems so in addition to adding probiotics to her food, I read about Glandex and thought we'd give it a try. She really likes the taste of it when we add it to her food and it seems to definitely help with the uh...poo problems. She'd had a couple anal gland expressions and I think they are really detrimental so we decided to stop them all together and fix her food and digestion. In addition to Glandex, she is on a minimal ingredient, natural food diet, and I make her mashed sweet potatoes. We've tried to minimize chicken intake and no more peanut butter. I think the combination of these things, including the Glandex, has really helped us stay away from the vet for the last year or two!

by hondengek it really works!
My shepherd always had glands problems. Every month to the vet was not what he liked. Tried fibers as vet said but not the result I wanted for him. Than I saw this with good reviews so bought it 2 years ago for the first time. It really works never went to the vet anymore and his poo is solid. I use it now maybe 3 times a week. And love it because my dog feels so much better. So everybody I hear about problems with dogs with their glands I tell them to buy this. It really works!!! and I think the taste is also good because they love it.
