Works...with extra benefits
I was skeptical, but my lawn looks horrible from all the dead yellow spots left by my 100lb King Shepherd. And trust me, these aren't small spots. Desperate, I tried Lawn Guard (tablet form.) I've definitely noticed an improvement in the lawn, but even better...
Right away I noticed that her solid waste was much smaller. This dog puts out HUGE piles, but suddenly, they were 1/3rd of the size they used to be. I did some reading, and sure enough, the beneficial bacterias in the Lawn Guard formula are designed to improve digestion, resulting in less waste.
I'd keep giving her these tablets based on that alone. Very cool side-effect! I've even been able to cut back on her food because of it.

Very good product
We have used this product for over 1 year. Using it has removed burnt stains from our lawn.

This appears to me to be a very effective product.
I recently put in a new yard, and shortly thereafter several yellow spots appeared where my dog went potty. I snooped around the Internet for remedies. One suggestion was to follow the dog around with a hose and thoroughly water every place she pee'd. That wasn't going to happen. Another suggested running the sprinklers more and to run them more frequently. Not with what water costs around here! I also found an advertisement for Lawn Guard chewables and decided to try them. Since beginning to use the product, no new yellow spots have appeared in my lawn. Although I was skeptical, it appears that this product really works. If you have a problem with yellow spots, I strongly recommend that you at least try Lawn Guard.

This product improved my front lawn
Product is easy to get the dogs to take. It is not perfect, but a vast
improvement to the lawn was seen. Depending on what type of
soil your lawn has will give different results. I would use this product again.
