The hole for this item had to be quite deep. Took some work. So far so good. In ground for a week and waste is hardly visible. Adding to it daily and no problems. LOVE IT!! March 14, 2012

Getting What You See Only problem I had was product did not come in a container as displayed but in a ziploc type bag. To me the container is important because it is more visible than a ziploc and I'm buying this for my daughters and their dogs and thinking the container will give them a better reminder (more visible) than a ziplock bag. October 15, 2012

I don't think so, we only picked up our yard about every 2 days and it worked on the old stools. We lived in Louisiana and we never had a problem with it.

Although I haven't used the product, I would say it's meant to go in the enclosed environment of a doggie dooley because the enzymes liquefy the waste sort of a mini-septic system. On the ground in the open air I don't think it would work.

It stops being effective after a while. I had the same problem. It is deffinitely not for more than one dog. It is full now and not in use.

The digester powder has a good shelf life (up to 5 years) provided you store it in the airtight container and it does not become wet or moist. Heat and cold experienced in a garage will not affect it. If the Doggie Dooley sat dormant during the Winter, the contents tend to get a little compact and dried out. Make sure you add plenty of water to get the contents rehydrated. I bought the enzymes for the dog dooley that said it was good for a year but only lasted me 3 months. I have four dogs and used instructions

why did it not last as long as it said? Does it explain anywhere on the size of the animals? It states to use 1 tbs per animal up to 4 dogs, I have 2 great danes, a jack russell and a petite boxer, should I have more than one dog dooley?

My guess would be that you're overloading the system. With the two large dogs, I would probably get another Doggy Dooly system

Yes, I think they say how many the dooley can handle and the size, like 1 large + 2 small, etc. I don't know what size a petite boxer is. You may need to add up the dogs' weights to know how much enzymes to buy.
