Drs. Foster & Smith Chicken & Brown Rice Puppy Food Formula meets your growing dog's high energy and demanding nutritional needs. REAL CHICKEN, the first ingredient in our doctor's formula, provides high quality protein and amino acids to support healthy tissues. Wholesome grains are a natural source of carbohydrates for fiber and energy. Vegetables and fruit provide vitamins and minerals to help support cell growth and a healthy immune system. Omega-3 & -6 fatty acids help keep skin healthy and smooth, and support a soft, lustrous coat. Contains 26% protein, 12% fat, and 4% fiber.

For puppies up to 12 months old. Large and giant-breed puppies may continue to eat Drs. Foster & Smith puppy formula dry dog food until 18 month of age.

Feeding Guidelines

Use a standard 8 oz. liquid measuring cup. An 8 oz. cup = 4.4 oz. by weight.

For puppies from weaning to 6 months, divide the daily amount into at least 3 meals. From 6 to 18 months, divide the daily amount into at least 2 meals. Puppy formula may be moistened with water at weaning to encourage your puppy to eat.

Your puppy's requirements may vary from the above feeding guide. Weigh your puppy monthly, consult with your veterinarian and adjust quantities as necessary to maintain optimal weight.

If feeding Drs. Foster & Smith puppy food for the first time, gradually adjust your puppy's current diet to avoid stomach upset. Mix 1/4 part Drs. Foster & Smith food with current food for 2-3 days. Gradually increase the new food and decrease current food over 7-10 days until you are feeding all Drs. Foster & Smith food. Keep fresh drinking water available at all times.
