Holiday Tuff Ones Style: Tree
Cute toy, decent durability
I purchased a dozen trees and candy canes for several dogs and puppies. These toys are very cute, with nice bright colors, and heavier and more durable than most soft toys. Still no match for power chewers or even for a 35 lb teething lab puppy, but better than most. I've purchased some "durable" soft toys that were so tough my dogs didn't have any interest in playing with them. Not these - tough but still pliable enough that the pups wanted to tug and toss and squeak them. And chew on them of course. They lasted several days of heavy-duty play before I tossed them. Based on the relatively inexpensive cost I thought they were a decent value. Would buy again.

This toy was tough, but not tough enough
We gave the tree and candy cane to our dogs for Christmas. (wire haired dachshunds) Our dog chewed a hole in this in 20 minutes. The hole was small and except for periodically pulling out stuffing, it took another 20 minutes or so to make another hole and so on. The toy did last through 12/27. The most disappointing part was that the squeaker broke within the first five minutes of chew play (no puncture wounds at this point) in both the candy cane version and the tree version. This was disappointing.

waste of money
It lasted less than 3 minutes, seam popped right open and stuffing poured out. A mistake to buy one for any dog with teeth.

Save your money
The seam starting coming undone almost immediately. I am planning on returning this toy.
