Simmons Orthopedic Cuddler Dog Bed

This bed combines the magical support of a memory foam base with the cradling feel of bolstered sides. Suddenly, your bed won't seem as attractive to your pet after just one night in the Simmons Orthopedic Cuddler.

Inner liner has 2 FULL INCHES of memory foam and a 1" thick poly bonded pad. This makes the bed extremely supportive, especially in minimizing pressure points for pets with achy joints, yet it also gently conforms to body curves for comfort. Zippered cover features durable jacquard outer walls, and an irresistible SoftTouch plush sleeping surface. Bolsters are overstuffed with polyfil and stitched closed at the corners, so the fill does not shift. Non-skid bottom stays put on smooth floors.

The inner liner removes for machine washing the cover. The polyfill in bolsters is stitched in, however, but can be washed right along with the cover. 24" x 34".

Remove pet hair from the Simmons Orthopedic Cuddler using a sticky tape roller (item #12533) or the hand attachment of your vacuum. When soiled, unzip the cover and remove the inner liner from bed (the bolsters in this bed do not have a zipper, but are washable in their entirety). Wash the cover in cool or lukewarm water with like colors, using gentle machine cycle and mild detergent. Line dry, or tumble dry on low heat. Remove from dryer promptly.

Benefits of Memory Foam

Memory foam cells tend to "deform" under pressure. Memory foam cells compress completely, spreading their air pressure to neighboring cells. This is precisely why memory foam distributes body weight evenly and reduces pressure points. This is also how the memory foam can truly conform to body shape. No other material has this property.

Memory foam is also temperature sensitive. At lower temperatures, it becomes harder or more viscous, and at higher temperatures it is softer and more elastic. This temperature sensitive quality is precisely the reason you feel like you are "melting" into the mattress when you lie down on memory foam.
