Example HOW TO MEASURE FOR PET CLOTHING:

Measure your pet from the base of his neck to the base of his tail as shown in the illustration.
Always round up to the next larger size if the measurement is near or over the range maximum in the smaller size. This is particularly true for coats and jackets since there is no stretch in those materials.
Also round up to the next larger size if your pet has a thick coat, broader chest, or wider underside.

REMEMBER, slightly looser fitting clothing is more comfortable and looks better than clothing that is too tight. If in doubt, order one size larger.

	With a little more give in the chest area, these are a great choice for deep-chested dogs, such as Greyhounds, Whippets, Chinese Cresteds, Miniature Pinschers, Dalmatians, and similar dogs.
	Neck opening or collar is a little looser, so these fit dogs with thick, muscular necks, like Pugs, French Bulldogs, or Shar Pei, or dogs with large heads, such as Bulldogs, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Bassets, and similar dogs.
	These necklines/collars are more fitted, and not as suited to dogs with large heads, such as Bulldogs, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Bassets, and similar dogs.

Santa Hoodie Size: Medium 4 5 3 3

Cute but the large is a little small. The quality looks reasonable. Nice design. Not hgh quality material, but okay for price. Material is on the lighter side, so don't expect a lot of warmth for outdoors, but more comfortable for indoors. Unfortunately sweaters seem to run small. This is definitely too small for my border collie mix. She's a little larger than expected from her 7 1/2 pounds at 8 weeks, but I would not call her a large dog. She's taking x-large in sweaters. Since i'll be returning them, I can't comment on durability. December 9, 2012

Cool outfit! This looks great on my pooch. The problem is the directions for measuring and determining the correct size were off. If you follow the guide when buying, get the next larger size then it tells you to get. I had to modify the garment to get it to fit. December 13, 2012

Santa Hoodie for dogs

What is the inside material like? Is it soft or rough? I have a greyhound this would be ideal for if it was soft inside for his very sensitive bare skin belly.

it's soft, but I doubt the large would fit a greyhound. A small one maybe. My Border Collie mix is similar to a Greyhound in being skinnier and leggier than my previous dogs. i could get it on her, but it was tight all around. I thought my Bassett/German Shepherd mix took an x-large because of a big chest. No one would call her a large dog. But I now think the clothing is not appropriately sized.
