A favorite for my dogs ? My two cocker spaniels LOVE these treats. They are an excellent way to keep breath fresh if you have an older pet that doesn't like his teeth brushed. Great Biscuits! My sister's Golden Retrievers and Tyrone (my GSD) LOVE the mint biscuits! I like the bite size ones. I break them in pieces and use them to train Tyrone. He likes them better than anything else I have used, and I like them because they kill his doggy breath! They do seem to keep my sister's Golden Retriever dog's teeth more clean, and they are easy on the older dogs teeth. We both LOVE them and so do the dogs (and any other dogs that we have come across). September 24, 2011

My two border collies love these! My two border collies love these besides the fact that they keep their breath and teeth clean. In fact my one dog knows the cabinet they are in and is very vocal about getting her treat. If I don't give them their treat promptly, I am herded about until it happens. Love this product and my neighbor's pet does too. My miniature puddle loves the all natural dental mint biscuits and I can control my neighbor’s playful lab rock mix, because he loves them too. January 24, 2011

Why did they change these dental biscuits?

I don't know what is different about them, but my dog use to eat them and loved them. Now they are not the green color anymore, my dogs will not touch them, they do not like them anymore. What else changed in them? .

Thank you for your question. The only change in the formula was the removal of charcoal from the ingredients, which resulted in the lightening of color. We aren't really sure why that would cause your dogs to no longer be interested in them.

What happened to the mint biscuits!!??

I understand your thoughts are simply that the charcoal imgredient was removed and the colour has changed, but our dogs don't like these any more (they used to go crazy for them). They also used to have a wonderful minty smell, which they no longer do. People may be duped by manufacturer claims, but I think the dogs can't be fooled. Will the manufacturer change back to the old recipe? Ours surely aren't the only unhappy dogs.

Should I purchase?

I have heard many stories about these biscuits changing the product. I have never bought these dental biscuits before and if I should buy them. I want my dog to be extremely happy with it and like it very much because I need to use it as an reward if my dog obeys during training. Also, how much do these biscuits help with freshening breath odor.
I am hoping that I can find good biscut treats soon. If you don't recommend these kind. Please tell me which one you recommend.

Thank you for your question. These biscuits really do help with breath odor. Not only do they contain mint flavor to help with bad breath, they also are crunchy. This crunchy texture helps scrape tartar from the dog's teeth which also helps control bad breath.
