UltraSonic Bark Collar
I have a hound dog that loves to greet me in the mornings with barking. Excessive barking. Then he goes outside and barks at the neighbors, other dogs, squirrels, his shadow, etc. My household is featured of people who work off shifts and when I came home at 8 am EVERYONE knew it. This collar doesn't even have to be on my dog for it to be effective. I switch it on and he tests it...once then no more barking. The only negative thing I've noticed is that he gets a bit twitchy when its been on a while. This may be more of a nuance with him though rather than the product.

doesn't appear to have any effect
Used for a couple of days and found that whatever setting was made there was no reaction, and since I could not hear anything (dah) I couldn 't tell if batteries were bad, installed wrong, or just what was the matter. I just would not do the job.

You should try it.
The sound it emits is above the range humans hear. I haven't seen the results I had hoped for... yet... so I wish I could hear it. Then I'd know if it's not working or if my dog just isn't responding. I like the concept of the sonic correction, the small size and the on/off switch but I do suspect that confirmed barkers (like my dog) may not respond to this collar because they need a stronger correction. I suspect my dog is just drowning out the sonic stimulus with her own barking. But so I will keep using it and see what happens. Especially for this price, I don't discourage anybody from trying it, especially if yours is a recreational barker as compared to a professional barker like mine.

worked well for 4 days, then battery went out
worked well for 4 days, then battery died, would cost too much to replace batteries every 4 days
