What kind of information should I put on the nametag?
A.
The information you put on your pet's nametag is up to you. Some people put their complete name and address, while others only put the pet's name and phone number. We recommend that when deciding what information to put on your pet's tag, you take into consideration how much information you want to give out.
Pet owners buy nametags in case their pets get lost. It is much easier for your pet to be returned when the person knows whom and where to return them to.
If I only put my pet's name and my phone number on the tag, will the printing be the same as if I filled up the entire tag with information?
A.
The size of the printing is the same regardless of the number of words on the tag. The printing is always nicely centered on the tag, no matter how much information there is.
For a small dog, select one of the smaller nametags, such as the smaller disc, heart, fire hydrant, or bell. The heart and disc 14k Gold Nametags are also very good for small dogs.

Have had these tags (dog bone) for about 2 years. These are definitely the most durable, easily read tags I have had. Have had numerous tags (some much more expensive) for 14 years. None have even come close to the quality and longevity of these tags. I have 4 Siberian Huskies, and they put these tags through the mill. I just reordered the same tags, not because they became illegible, or broke, but because there is some extremely minor wear to the perimeter of the dog bone, and being very neurotic, I needed to get new ones (or my head would explode!). Name, address and phone number are still extremely legible. They come with my highest recommendation. You'll be very, very satisfied, also.
I have four dogs, a Alaskan Malamute mix, an Akita/German Shepherd mix, a pomeranian and a collie. All of them wear these engraved metal nametags. I feel that when you add a dog or a cat to your house, they then become members of your family, so putting these nametags on your beloved pet is the best thing you could do for them, it will save their life and it will bring them back home if they ever become lost. These Metal Nametags are also great looking with the Drs. Foster and Smith Nylon Dura Ruff collars.
Over the years I have seen many, many pets returned to their owners in a timely manner simply because they were wearing a collar with a nametag. It was easy for the person who found the lost pet to contact the owner and some nametags even had vital medical information on them.
Whenever I walk my dogs I make sure they have sturdy nametags with current information on them.
