A most for Older arthritic dogs.
My dog is over 10 years old and very arthritic. I had shoulder and arm surgery, thus immoblizing my right arm. With the harness being able to be left on and the one strap in the center, I can still lift my dog's hind quarters with my left arm. This harness truly is a life saver.

A very gentle way to assist in standing
My dog is 13 and has started having a difficult time supporting himself with his back legs. This harness is a very gentle and safe way to assist him in standing, gaining control and balance. I'm so pleased to find something like this! He looks forward to going for walks again!

works great!
My almost 12yr old GSD has spinal issues that rendered him unable to get up on his own. I had been using a towel as a belly sling to help lift him to his feet. This seemed to hurt him at times and was hard on me due to his size. This harness works great, and is comfortable enough to leave on--which I do. I can now help him get up at a moments notice with no discomfort to him--or me. Highly recomended!

Excellent for Post Surgical Dogs!
This harness is great for post surgical dogs, or dogs with severe hip dysplasia or arthritis. I would not however recommend leaving it on all the time, as the instructions indicate, as this would be uncomfortable for the dog and might rub sores on their skin. The harness would be perfect if it had quick release buckles on the leg straps, so that you did not have to lift the dogs legs to put the harness on. As it is, it is a little bit awkward to get on and off, but I still highly recommend it as it adds a lot of safety and stability for walking fragile dogs, and is more secure than a sling.
