Male no leak wraps best I have found anywhere I have a 9 year old intact 95lb Alaskan Malamute. He developed an infection of unknown origin that has caused increased drinking / urination and incontinence. Being a house dog, this is obviously worst case scenario. He has always been an extremely clean and conscientious dog & he was emotionally affected by this "leakage". No I am not a wierdo, those who understand that dogs do have emotions understand. I tried 3 different brands of belly bands. This one is by far the best. #1 is the sizes available. My boy needed an XL. #2 was the color selection. Who wants a bright turquoise belly band like the competitors sell?? Finally ... it works. His mood changed immediately as he wasn't constantly worried about having an accident. I actually use women's femine pads to line the inside of the wrap as they are super absorbent. These are washable, I use warm water and air dry to avoid shrinking. VERY happy with this purchase. The price was right I purchased this item online from Dr.'s as the price was 1/3 of the cost at our local pet supply store. I use this every day for my older dog who is having incontinence problems. It has made our lives so much better. Would highly recommend. In fact will be purchasing another one as a backup. December 29, 2012

Best Male Wrap Product On The Market I have a 13 yr old male rescue dog, Poko, who recently began to have "accidents" - big ones. Sometimes, he would pee while lying down, unaware. It got to a point where there were 2-3 "accidents" a day in my carpeted rental unit. I had never heard of male wraps before - and tried everything you could get in the Big Box stores. Long story short, after just a couple of uses, I can claim that Foster and Smith's wraps are the absolute best. First, they are wide enough so that shifting around doesn't cause a leak issue. Second, the velcro placement makes adjusting really easy. And, the liner is the softest so far, the sewn-in "pee pad" is the only one that is big enough to cover the "pee prone" area, and the coloring is understated but fashionable (for a brown dog). IMPORTANT HINT: Anyone with a fully incontinent dog will want to line the wrap with an adult incontinence product. I have found the best one is a "belted shield" - which is kind of a unisex, one-size-fits-all, adjustable undergarment, You simply use the shield like a liner inside the wrap. This ensures that even when big accidents happen, there is something to contain the liquid. You may not even need to wash the wrap this way. As a happy ending, Poko was diagnosed with Cushing's, for which incontinence is a symptom. We now get our Rxs from Foster & Smith, and the good news is that the incontinence now is rare. Excellent Product. Recommend Highly This product has enabled us to improve the quality of life for one of our dogs suffering from a bladder control problem. When used in connection with purchased absorbent pads, it provides strong leak control. Care should be used however to remove this product during the evening and to clean the leak area daily so as to avoid urinary track infection. Also recommend frequent washing of this product.
