My daughters lab Koda had no problem wearing the Hleggings. I am sorry to say the problem was her constant licking kept the material wet. Big problem. We are at our wits end. She has used the plastic cone, the soft Kong ring, sprays even doggie Prozac nothing works. This dog is very persistent and only one spot on her whole body. She does not scratch, lick or chew anywhere else. Just her one front leg wrist. It is horrible. Any suggestions? Even the vet is lost.

by Reno123 This is a Must Have Product
If your dog is a licker like mine is, this product is a must have product. Buddy loves his leggings and I love that he can't injury himself by licking. The leggings do not hinder him in any way, they do tend to stretch, so either wash them or I just use a rubber band to shorten them up a bit.

These have worked great! My lab mix is about 75lbs and the leggings were a little long but I "cuffed them" and then gathered the excess material and tied it in a knot between his shoulder blades. (without the knot, he figured out how to get out of them!) They wash and dry well but the stitching on the edge of the seam unravels easily. I had to repair as best as I could with a needle and thread after a few days of wear but that was 2 weeks ago and they're still holding up under daily use.

Have had ongoing problem of my dog licking her leg from an ant bite. Has become an obsession. After many tries to get her to stop I thought this was the perfect thing. It was chewed up in 2 days.
I ended up buying a roll of 2" stockinette material used for use under casts. Cut to length and used long shoelace to thread thru the end cut and tie over her back after sliding it over her leg. It is working very well. After she starts to chew it or pull it up to lick I change for a freshly cut piece. She is starting to accept it & her leg is starting to heal.
