ProCone® Soft Recovery Collar

The ProCone Soft Recovery Collar is a great alternative to stiff, lampshade-style protective collars. It prevents pets from accessing their injuries, rashes, or post-surgery wounds to speed healing, and its flexible nylon construction means it can be folded back for convenient eating and drinking.

ProCone includes an adjustable collar for a secure, custom fit, but you could also use it with your pet's everyday collar (has built-in loops for collar attachment). It also includes a stainless steel ring for leash attachment. It is water resistant and has reinforced seams for added strength and protection. Collar also has reflective piping on its circumference, to make your pet more visible at night. Machine washable.

1. Measure the smallest part of your pet's neck starting from the back.
2. If your pet's measurement is in between sizes, choose the larger size.

Directions

1. Open ProCone so it is laying flat.
2. Using strips of Velcro® as a guide, fasten ProCone around your pet's head for best fit.
3. Securely fasten adjustable collar provided by looping Velcro® strap through one of the steel rings. Fold strap back to secure Velcro®. If preferred, your pet's everyday collar may also be used. Please be sure to keep only a two-finger gap between your pet's neck and the collar.
4. Use the extra strip of Velcro® to cover any exposed strips to prevent hair or fabrics from sticking to the collar.
5. ProCone can be folded back for eating and drinking. Locate the Velcro® spots on the outside of the collar, opposite the ProCone logo. Fold the collar back so the two Velcro® spots meet. Do not leave ProCone folded back when your pet is unsupervised. Always monitor a pet post-surgery to ensure collar is working properly.
