Composure SoftChews Cats and Small Dogs, 30 chews
I only use this for special occasions (fireworks, storms) for our elderly Golden. She is terrified of fireworks and she really stresses out. This chews are like treats and she loves to get them and 2 are more than enough to calm her, for fireworks on the 4th of July I used 4 chews and she slept and was relaxed. I used to buy the generic but I had to give her so many tablets, now with the chews a small dose goes a long way. Highly recommended.

This really works
The soft chews are like a treat and my dog loves them like they were candy so easy to give. It seems to help the nervousness when one dog is around the big dog I have as he does not growl when he has had his treat for the day. It even helps the bog dog with his nervous barking when the mailman comes around

After I got some of these from my vet for my Elkhound, who was developing some aggressive habits I stocked up. I have used the smaller versions a couple of times on cats, and recommended them to friends with dogs who stress out. One was a big dog who had to have knee surgery and stay relatively inactive. I gave her a bag of these treats and they used them on a vet visit. She came in raving about how calm it made the dog, who normally hates to ride. She showed the bag to the staff at the hospital, who assured her the treats were safe, and she suggested they be recommending them! They do NOT make the animal groggy or "out of it" they just calm them down! My elkie had mellowed back to his old self within 2 days. The dog with the leg surgery was given 2 15 minutes before his car ride and they kept him calm for the ride, the vet visit, and the ride home, which was more than 2 hours. They are truly a Godsend to help the animals!

composure not only works. It is convenient to use.
I use Composure for my son's Service Dog.
There is many facets to our hard worker. He was trained for one category of service to my son. But this outstanding dog has not only gone one step further. He has also taken on more responsibility to alert me, which he was not trained to do so.
My big concern is not to burnout this beautiful dog we are so blessed to have in our life. Composure takes the edge off of our hero, when he takes on a lot more than he is expected. So he can relax, and also be a companion. Of which he is so good at too. Just being a dog...:)
