Outlast technology helps manage heat, so the pad feels thermally "just right". Here's how it works: Excess heat generated by your pet is absorbed into the Outlast fibers, to reduce overheating. As this heat is distributed throughout the Outlast fibers, cold spots are eliminated, too. The result is a bed that is neither too hot nor too cold. Outlast was originally developed for NASA and has since been incorporated into a number of everyday uses.

Luxury Crate Pads with Outlast boast a luxurious microsuede top fabric that feels silky yet durable to the touch. Its non-skid bottom grabs onto crate floors to prevent slipping.
