| Care Instructions
Hand wash your collar when soiled, or spot clean with a pet-formulated stain/spot remover such as CleanAway. Simply spritz CleanAway on the collar, and allow its enzymes and "good" bacteria to digest the stain and odor until it is gone permanently.
Introducing your dog or puppy to a collar and lead Taking the time to properly introduce your puppy to the collar and lead sets the stage for teaching your puppy the basic elements of obedience. The goal is to have your puppy accept a collar and lead calmly, without resistance. Collars should be introduced to your puppy right away. Don't be concerned if he initially scratches at it or shakes his head. Though he may resist wearing a collar, soon he won't even notice it's on. A collar should rest high on your pet's neck without fitting too loosely. It should be snug with enough room to fit two fingers between your pet's neck and collar. For your pet's safety, the collar should not be loose enough to slip over his head, but not so tight as to restrict breathing or cause coughing. For puppies, collars and leads with lighter hardware (buckles, snaps and rings) are best. When your puppy is done growing, you can replace with heavy-duty hardware if appropriate for your breed. Check collar size frequently on growing puppies. Nylon collars are available in single-ply or double-ply thickness in a wide choice of colors. Excellent choice for cats and most dogs, as they are strong and have a long life. Choose wider width and thicker styles for larger, stronger dogs. Lightweight yet strong Quick Clip collars offer easy on/off convenience for pet owners who frequently remove the collar. All pet owners should have a 6 ft. lead for training and restraining that matches collar style. Almost all proper training is centered around having control of your dog. Leads are the only way to maintain in close control. Choose collar and lead width with hardware that matches pet's size. Smaller, lightweight choices are for small dogs, cats, and puppies, and wider, more durable styles are for bigger, stronger pets. |

You will see that I already have a review for one one of these products, The Dura Ruff Collar. Well I just recently bought the Dura Ruff Double Ply 1" lead and I can't believe how strong it is. I have a 1 year old Akita/German Shepherd mix who is 25 inches tall from the shoulder down and he is strong! This lead is perfect for him. For anyone who has a huge dog, get these Dura Ruff Collars and the Double Ply 1" lead. You will not regret it. |

I bought the Nylon Dura Ruff dog collars for my 1 year old Akita/German Shepherd mix and my 9 month old Purebred Collie puppy, these collars are everything they said it would be. They are strong, and getting in on is a snap. To anyone who is getting a puppy or a dog I would recommend getting a Nylon Dura Ruff Dog Collar, it also looks great with thier metal name tags. |

I have used the Nylon Dura-Ruff Leash for the past year on my 20 month old Boxer. He used to chew through a leash in 30-45 days. The "push in clip" would open when he would play with other dogs. These are as tough as steel and soft on his teeth and gums. The price/quality is the best value in the market place. |

I have used Nylon Dura-Ruff Collars for my dogs for the past few years and definitely prefer them. The Dura-Ruff Collar is so easy to use. My favorite feature is being able to snap the collar on quickly - especially with a struggling puppy! |

These collars are my all time favorite! They are simple to operate, I bought a collar from my pet store and it was so complicated that It made me feel dumb. So I got these collars for my two dogs. They are great! Since they are so cheap, I have one of each color for my dogs to match their winter clothes. They come in every color and believe me these are worth ever cent! They are sooooooo easy to wash, just stick in the washer and dryer. They sure are awesome! |
