Love this mat.
I use the stain resistant mat under my dog's water bowl and food bowls. They absorb a lot of water. Every two days I just put them outside to dry for an hour and back on the floor they go. I replace them about twice a year. I will continue to purchase these mats.

Great placemat for cat who plays in water bowl
i love this placemat - I have it in a boot tray under the water bowls. It definitely absorbs the water and helps a lot. I have 4 cats but one of them loves to splash all the water out of the bowls, making a major mess. This helps absorb some of the water - at least enough so the other cats will stand on it to drink. It fits perfectly inside the boot tray.

Great Product
I have the 20x28 placemat, and it is large enough to fit the Bridgeport Onyx Waterer and a plate of food with ample room to catch splashes and food bits. It protects my hardwood floors nicely, and when it's soiled, all I have to do it throw it in the wash.

Very nice placemat
I bought the 16 x 28 placemat in the shale/black color. It's big enough to fit both of my cat's food and water bowls side by side. I really like the colors and it goes nicely with my kitchen. I have sponge cleaned spots and thrown the whole thing in the washing machine and it is still looking good! I'm happy with this purchase.
