Does what it says it does, & sturdy
I first got the small instead of the extra small. That was a mistake and, even though my cat was able to get out of it, it still didn't spin. I also bought the wrong kind of regular collar (too big AND she got the clasp of the regular collar with safety clasp undone right away). I got a smaller collar with a buckle clasp instead of the safety/breakaway clasp. It inflates well and sturdy as can be. I'm just glad I know which size my Gracie needs. I'm keeping the small size in case I ever need it in the future. The only reason I am not going to check, "Pet Loves It" is because, at first, she hated it. lol She will adjust, I'm sure.

Glad I Found This Collar
My precious 9 year old feline companion Noah underwent emergency abdominal surgery the last week of September 2012 for a twisted intestine. Although he was very good about not bothering his incision, I felt it would be prudent to have an e-collar on hand for any future surgeries he may need. I have not liked the plastic cone e-collars, so was very thrilled to find something that is advertised as being more comfortable. I'm glad I have this product on hand in case my precious Noah may need it.

Worked well with tweaking.
I am using these collars (size #2 small) on three 8 month old kittens. I like that it leaves their faces open which seems to bother them less than 2 different cone shape collars I tried. They quickly became used to these collars. They can eat and drink easily with dishes on the floor and don't get canned food on them like the other collars.
To secure them, I used 7-12" dog collars, the ends of which latched securely together, without the quick release feature on most cat collars which kept coming apart. I also discovered how easily the inner plastic lining can be punctured by tiny kitty claws. Once the nails were trimmed (and they will need to be kept trimmed) the leak problem was no more. One has a slow leak, but works adequately, and one won't stay inflated despite duct tape over visible holes. One (which wasn't leaking) fit better in terms of the inner lining fitting inside the protective cover than the other two collars. I plan to replace 2 of them with new ones.
The company was good about offering a refund and free shipping for the collars.

Product would not hold air.
Did not stay inflated at all. The air valve was bulky on our cat's neck - no matter how we had it turned. We kept it on him for a while uninflated but he could still reach his haunches. The Elizabethan collars seem to work better but they look so pitiful on a big gray cat.
