This product has promise.
I was excited to find this product in the catalog because I thought it would hopefully contribute to better dental health for my cats. My cats do not eat dry food and I thought perhaps the mint chew would aid in reducing tartar.
My cats lost interest in the chew about 10 minutes after I gave it to them. It has held no interest since then.
I do feel that the chew holds promise because it is something to chew on rather than a food treat to help fight dental build-up.
Even though my cats didn't have the enthusiasm that I did for the product, I still think it has a great deal of merit.

Appealing to kitty and effective dental aide
Two of my four cats just LOVE the mint stick dental chews. They chew so hard and frequently on them, I have to keep multiples in stock. Dental checkups at the vet are always good too!

My cats love this...
I purchased two Fresh Breath Mint Sticks for my two 9 month old cats. They just love it. The have been teething and want to chew on things and this really resolved that problem. They both literally chewed on these sticks for over an hour and then took a nap. While they were sleeping I hid them high up in the cat tower, but when they woke they were too smart for me and found them. Back to tossing, chewing and chasing. I have wood floors and when they play, these sticks go flying across the room which excites them that much more. Very durable and well made; worth the low cost. Sometimes bigger isn't necessarily better.

Good kitty fun
One of my two cats really loved this mint stick. She even played "fetch" with it. The other sniffed it and walked away. However, because they copy each other, eventually the other began to play with it, too. The only negative I found is the scent is rather faint to begin with and didn't last very long. I don't know if that's why they didn't play with it all that long or if they got bored and left it alone, which is typical of their behavior. They have gone back to it periodically and tossed it about.
