a good deal
This is a very good item and my little black and white somewhat Domestic Shorthair Molly loved it and she is choosy. It is made of a really good material and the mouse is a lot of fun when the cat pounces on it and it squeaks -- really life like too.
Also you can hang it on the door or do as I do and put it on the floor for the cat to streach on as s/he scratches it.
This is worth the money.

my kitties love it
For years, my cats have used a similar product (without the hanging loop) and I was quite disappointed when I was no longer able to find new ones. But this one is almost the same; it just took my kitties a week or two to get used to using it. My kitties are quite particular in what they use to sharpen their claws, other products go untouched. The only downside is that after awhile the sisal fibers start coming off and get tracked all over the house...probably inevitable with anything covered in sisal.

Worth it for the Mouse Toy!
My cat only seems interested in things she's not supposed to scratch (like the wall next to the scratcher), and as of this review, she has only scratched the door hanger twice. The mouse, however, is wonderful! That little mouse makes playtime exciting and fun - she plays with it every single day! Now if only I could figure out some way to entice her to use the scratcher - I've tried everything! This item may just be hit or miss for your own cat.
